Adornments, installation 2015 (13 images)
The installation, Adornments: To Show To Hide, explores a notion of adornment as, like a house, something we inhabit, express, reveal, and conceal. It includes such objects as a braded mop-head adorned with pearls, lady’s silk gloves with tussles, blank (un-engraved) award medals, a necklace made with price tags and flags of nations with absent of color. The installation is envisioned as a kind of cabinet of curiosities and situated within a museum gallery where their own collection of jewelry and costume was displayed.
