The Landay translated into Morse Code. The Landay (or Landai) is a traditional Afghan poetic form consisting of a single couplet (two lines long and 22 syllables). This form is traditionally performed by women orally and often whispered into ears from a woman to woman in order to remain anonymous. Many of the themes deal with love, pain, rage, homeland, war and their daily life where women are prohibited from speaking freely.
